ATI HD 5970+5870 vs 5970/5870 X2

Hi,
Do anyone know if 1 5970+1 5870 will be a lot better than 2 5870 or 1 5970?

Also, will the 5970 fit in my case: Cooler Master Centurion 590 (http://www.coolermaster.com/product.php?category_id=19&product_id=3927)?

You will have to overclock the 5970 to the same core speed as the 5870 of course, then you'll have 3-way crossfire 5870's.

I assume you are using a 30" LCD or eyefinity, otherwise this amount of graphic power is totally overkill.

You need 12'' clear for a 5970. Maybe it will fit if you remove the HD Cage.
