Maybe a bad idea, but I ask anyway, And I have searched th board, but can not find a 100% clear answer..
The PC has onboard HD7660D graphics card, with only two outlets, VGA and hdmi. I would like to add one more monitor, and I have a Ati HD 5570 card I don't use.
So.. the question is:
Would both cards run at the same time? or should the onboard card be disabled?
And if, how do I disable it? and how to get both cards working that is possible?
If I disable the onboard card, will that make the PC slower? or faster? or no difference?
At the moment both are installed inside the PC, both are recognized device manager, and CPU-Z but I only have signal on the "old" onboard card.
Is it possible at all?
the motherboard is a MS 7800 ( Medion PC)
It is not to be used to play games on, only as media centre.
The reason I want 3 monitors is I have two for normal use and also a projector connected
( or I want to I should say..) and best if I don't have to unplug a monitor every time i want to use the projector.
Or is the solutiojn to switch between cards? that idea I just got.. ?
Another solution was to find an HDMI switch of course..
Thanx for any help
