ATI or GF2

i have around 150$ to spend on a video card. now ATI Radeon 32mb sdr or the GeForce 2 32mb sdr??? and my friend had the ATI rage pro and it didnt work with his VIA chipset, it i get the ATI would it work with my VIA chipset???

Yea. I'm pretty sure it will. I guess there are a lot of factors other than the chipset that can cause problems with a graphic card. Cause I have a rage pro based card and a via chipset and it works fine.

Anyway, you can still check on ATI's website if there is any big issue, but i'm pretty sure there isn't.
