ATI radeon 7500 all in Wonder . Capture Sizes

Hi

I need know what resolutions can i capture from TV or other source.

The specifications of Radeon7500 AIW , sais 720x540 30 fps Without loss of quality. Is it TRUE ?

I have AMD XP 1600@1400 256mb RAM DDR and an old 3dfxVoodoo 3 2000 PCI. with my Pinnacle StudioPCTV i can't capture at 640x480 or 720x540, i lost frames.

It's true for other people, maybe not for you. It uses software compression which creates a lot of CPU overhead. If you want a hardware solution consider the Hauppauge PVR cards.

I had a radeon64 ddr VIVO with a Soyo dragon+ board, AXP1700+, 512 megs ram and a raid array stripped with 2 maxtor 740dx(well not sure for the that, but close) and could capture 720x480 without dropped frame, but I wasnt using my computer for anything else.
