Ati Radeon 7500 to 9800 Pro

Hello, I built a new system a few month ago, Asus A7n8X, AMD 2800+, 1 GB Kingston RAM, etc.. I carried over the video card from my old PII 400 until I could afford a new one. Overall my gaming is pretty good on older games but seems to lack some on newer games. I'm interested in a 9800 PRO 128 and wanted to know if I would be able to tell a huge difference ? Is this card REALLY outdated ? Thanks in advance

You'll notice a HUGE differece. R9800 Pro 4x faster than R7500, without AA turned on.

Yes you would see a very big difference, on older games you'll be able to use full aa/af with the 9800pro. Your 7500 is fairly outdated.

My laptop has a 7500. It can run most games well. Except for those newer games of course.

My second computer has a Duron 900 and Radeon 7000 32 MB. Its pretty sad, when I only get 25 FPS in UT2003 with no details and at 800*600. My main comp gets 90+ at 1024*768 with details.

Your 7500 is a huge mismatch with the rest of ur specs. If you upgrade to a 9800Pro you will notice an incredible difference. I have a 7500 in my notebook as well and 9500Pro in my desktop and the diff between those two is huge. If you're into gaming at all, you HAVE to upgrade.
