Question ATI radeon hd 3450 replacement

Im sorry for asking such question, but I am not too familier with computers so I am trying to see if someone will be able to help me. I currently have a dell optiplex 980 with ati radeon hd 3450, which is not compatible with Wins 10. So I am trying to find an inexpansive replacement. I found an AMD ATI Radeon R7 250 2GB PCIe x16 (https://www.ebay.com/itm/Dell-FDT1K...ard/143211496157?_trksid=p2485497.m4902.l9144) and wonder if this can work. What about an AMD Radeon R5 240 1GB (https://www.ebay.com/itm/Dell-AMD-R...ard/163650663373?_trksid=p2485497.m4902.l9144). Also if it does is it plug and play or do I need to pre-install something? Hi, I have the one on the right. I live is U.S. and my tring to get something that is under $50 if thats possible.

Then yes, you'll need a "low profile" and "single slot" (or at the very least a single expansion slot bracket) GPU. That R7-250 would work, but it's pretty anemic. Good for 720p gaming at low settings I suppose. Here's Tom's review

I'd be looking into a GT1030 myself. Best I can figure, it's 2x faster than the R7 250.
Roughly, GT1030 =GTX750Ti = R7 260X.
