im new to these forums and i need help regarding my graphics card, the problem is it has a DVI port and i have an extender that lets me plug in a vga cable into it then the vga cable into a monitor and i use the extender on the graphics card then put the vga in and it doesnt display anything on my screen, screen just says no signal but the fans of the gpu are spinning, idk if that means its connected to the motherboard, also i think it MIGHT be the extender causing issues but im not sure, so if anyone has an idea why it doesnt work please help me out, any help is very appreciated thanks

try running it directly to a display(TV or monitor) that has a DVI port.
this could tell if the VGA converter is working or not.

when the last time you used the card and it was functioning correctly?

list your complete system specs...
specs:

OS: Windows 10 Pro x32
RAM: 3.50GB
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+
GPU: ATI Radeon HD 3850
iGPU: NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430
Motherboard: ALiveNF6G-VSTA
PSU model: DPS-350PB-2 C

i dont currently have any tv or monitors that have a DVI port nor a cable for that so i cant do that right now but the last time the card was used and functioning just fine was 6 - 8 months ago
