ATI Radeon HD 4850x2 problems

I recently bought a new mobo Asus P5G41C-M and now the performance on my Radeon HD 4850x2 has decreased significantly. I play Champions Online and when I used to start up the game the fan speed would increase from 20% to about 30-35% now it stays at the same 20% and Im running between 10-20 fps when before I was no less than 30 fps. I increased the fan speed on my own and performance was still low. The latest drivers are installed. The device is working properly and the graphics remain the same. What could be causing this ?

Corsair 850W PS
Windows 7 64 bit

Not sure what was your previous motherboard, your mobo only supports PCI-E v1.1.

Previous mobo was Gigabyte EG41M-S2H

Try downloading all the latest motherboard updates including the BIOS, also try to disable the onboard graphics as this could be causing a problem.
