ATI Radeon HD 4870 vs NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT

Hi Folks,

I have a few Mac Pro's I'm selling off after running them as Final Cut Pro video edit suites. I am keeping one machine and wanted to harvest the best bits before seeling off the rest.

I have a late 2008 2 x 3.2Ggz Quad Core Intel Mac Pro that currently has a NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT graphics card.

Could/Should I swap the graphics card for an ATI Radeon HD 4870 I also have available?

Your opinions would be most valued.

ATI 4870 is much better than 8800 gt.
