Hello.

I ran the free test with the standard settings and received a score of 13,448 3DMark06. When I attempted to search for a similar system so that I could compare scores I was disappointed. There was no drop down option for my processor. My detailed score and settings during the test as well as my system specs are below. Thanks for any input u may have : )

Solution
Don't too rely on benchmark softwares, every person could get different score even with the same exact specs...

Try some games? I'm sure you'll get pretty decent setting with your specs. :)

Yes, I agree, and that looks about right considering you are using an Athlon II processor. I score almost 17000 with my ridiculously overclocked 5750 and an i3 530 at 4.0. Is everything at stock speeds?

Thanks for the replies.

Everything is still at stock speed. I have not attempted to overclock anything.

As far as game testing, sounds like good advice. Which program do you guys use to monitor FPS in-game? Or do you just use the games console commands to show fps onscreen?

Also, in regard to the game testing, it seems like the best indicator of pc performance as it is what I will be using the PC for, however, it is all so variable.
I have a monitor with a native res of 1920 x 1080. So, if I use the full resolution I am limited on the graphics settings. *shrug*

In about 2 years I will upgrade the GPU and CPU and add some memory and then all will be well.

I was browsing and discovered that my system is very similar to the June $550 system. I will use those benchmarks as comparison.

Also, if a moderator happens to read this, perhaps compiling the fps from the various benchmarks you have run into a spreadsheet similar to the graphics card hierarchy spreadsheet would be a good idea.
It would probably decease the number of threads asking if a score is good or if a certain FPS is reasonable.

As someone pointed out, in-game performance is a much better test of ones system as opposed to some benchmark program.
