Ati radeon xpress 200 video card

Hello,

I have an ATI radeon express video card and am trying to run sketchup 8 with many crashes. Sketchup recommends a 3D class Video Card with 512+ MB of memory or higher. Also that the video card driver supports OpenGL version 1.5 or higher. What are the specs on the xpress 200. Do they meet this requirement? Thanks!

thats an onboard integrated graphics on your moptherboard....your program most likely needs a dedicated gpu.

Thanks for the reply. Does switching to a newer Diamond ATI HD5450 work? Sketchup doesn't suggest needing a dedicated GPU. I have constant "graphics driver has stopped working" error messages as well. Not related to the program I referring to.

It could work. the memory is 1GB and i'm pretty sure it is a 3D class video card.
P.S.-I don't have sketchup,don't think i do,and why don't you get a better video card?
