This video is made intentional poor but just in case you didn't notice, monkey's hands change skin color when installing the graphics card.

Anyone else notice that the monkey's hands changed color depending on which component was being installed? Black for opening/closing the case, tan for installing the card and hitting the power button.

I noticed that nowhere did anyone mention anything about power requirements, voltage and amperage. These little bits of knowledge are what are the confusing parts of installing video cards.

However, since the intent of the video is to show you how to actually put the component into your system, I guess it does the job.

It used to be this easy, but now you need to know if your Power Supply can handle it and if it has the extra power connectors necessary to plug into the new video card. Not everyone will know if a 6/8 pin power connector is available for their video cards, even less if they require 2 for the card.

Excellent video tho, love it!

This is hilarious!

Great job ATI, your convinced people to go out and buy graphics cards; then return them to the store when they don't know what to do next.

Your going to have people who know absolutely nothing about computers with AGP 8X ports going out and buying PCI-E cards, or heck people with out any graphics port thinking that's all you need to do.

Though maybe you have 5% of people who might attempt this and not have enough power from their P/S; or buy a card that doesn't fit inside of their case. Or in the off chance you get someone whose computer will accept the card they bought, what are the chances that they plug in the additional power connector, or plug the DVI or VGA cable into the card instead of right back into the Motherboard. What about drivers? what about updating their BIOS to recognize the graphics card.

Though with proper instruction; yes a monkey could install a graphics card -- but then what would we have:

anyone forgot the fact that people not knowing how to upgrade their graphic card may be using agp????

this really doesn't help and will get me troubles I'm sure about it
