Just FYI, ATI launched their new TV Wonder using the Theater 550 series chip.

If your looking for a new upgrade this might be the time with true hardware Mp2 encoding.

I doubt it'll be cheaper than some other competing products, but it may be better based on early views of the chip. More detailed reviews of course will be needed. I think Crash needs to get his contact(s) to float him one for a review. 😎

I really only need VIVO for my needs which I'm expecting for my next graphics card, but if I could expect this for under $100CDN, I'd be interested. Although I'd prefer USB for the laptop and my work computer so I could run cable from the lounge at work.

How does ATI TV WONDER ELITE compare to Sapphire's Theatrix?
They both use ATI Theater™ 550 PRO Chipset; however, the Sapphire's Theatrix is only $82-85 compare to TV Wonder Elite's $150.

Can anyone review these boards? or give some comments?

Also can anyone suggest some similar quality internal tv tuner?

well i know the ati one was just released and the sapphire one was out since ati released the 550 chip which was at least 3 months back
I'm sure Ati will be cheaper in a couple of months too
I dont think there are any differences
But just check out the specs
I think ati is better
I'm not sure if sapphire has all the approvals the ati has
forgot what they were from the nation broadcasting network..i think
