Ativ book 8 silents mode and function keys problem

I have a ativ book 8 and is there i can physically see if silent mode is on. I always keep my laptop on high performance mode. I am not sure all the Fn keys are working the volume works but the brightness does not. I have updated all the drivers.

Is this the laptop you own? Unfortunately there isn't any way to manually download the drivers from their site onto your system.

You can try follow this thread whereby you install your GPU drivers in compatibility mode in hopes that the brightness keys gain functionality but unless Samsung release an update and is picked up by Microsoft's update mechanism then they will be inoperable.

You could pass on your laptop specs if the one linked above is different than the one you have.
