A local store has one of these new (oem box) for $110. For a 480GB SATA III SSD. There isn't really any info about it on the web, but the specs are good and from what I found it normally costs upwards of $2500 because it is an "industrial" SSD. Should I go for it? I believe it has warranty.

This is at Frys? Oh...I was assuming some small local dude.

I'm skeptical too, but it is under warranty, and considering it is normally very expensive and sold to industrial clients, the warranty will probably be good. I also couldn't find a price for this specific model anywhere, so I based it off an older model by this company.

I know, that's the only reason I'm considering this one. The store (Fry's) takes returns, so if it turns out to be crap, I can return it. I'll give it a try and see.

Sorry, should have said earlier. It might be a surplus unit left over from some company's servers, also it is on Amazon for $150.
