Attachment paper clip not opening windows vista

Hello,
I have had no trouble opening paper clip attachments in the past but now the clip shows in the list of messages but not when highlighted therefore cannot click and get message any longer. Any suggestons?

What email program are yo uusing? Only one attachment does not open or all of them now? Have you rebooted? Opened the message then tried the attachement?

Thanks for answering. I found the problem. I updated to windows 8 and there are some flaws so went back to windows 7 and all is fine. Thanksl

I think you mean Internet Explorer 8 and 7. Windows 8 won't be out for a while.
