I have tried to clone my dad's laptop hdd to an ssd. When I installed on my computer it treated it as the main drive and booted it up and populated it with a bunch of weird data. It's only 250gb but has 1tb partitions on it and boot repair reads 2 Windows 10 on it. Cloning it using easeus partition software makes it unbootable. I'm going to try and use different software, but how can i clean up this mess? Is there a good hdd analyzer that can correct what I've done.?

Thanks

Return the system back to original condition.
Does it boot up?

From there, we can investigate another clone operation if you desire.

Yes. I can put the drive back into the laptop and everything boots fine. It's just that cloning to the SSD from the HDD using Minitool Partition Wizard doesn't allow me to boot it. Blue screen shows up. I've cloned 2 different drives this way so I'm stumped so far.

I will probably just do a fresh install and migrate the data manually.
