156 FSB 2,185
AMD Athlon XP 3000+ CPU I'm comparing to.
Slightly beating it.
I think it's about as far as I'm going.
A 2200+ running like it's a 3000+
In-between 3000+ and 3200+ Really, performance wise.
Using Sisoftware Sandra 2004 Pro.
904 Marks on 3DMark 03 on the last run, would've been better.
I cant use the MSI Overclock Option, the drivers don't won't to load.
Denny. 🙂

MSI Overclock software wont work on a Asus Board...and 3dmarks wont go real
high without new vid card :)
Sandra tests the cpu...so make comparisons there.
Nice O/C for a 2200+..Might have to try O/C My kids system...2200+ on a
Chaintech Bord with PC3200 Ram...set to 133FSB for now.

I Know what I should get here.
The cost of 9600's (ATI) Are coming down, & are still very good for
gaming.
Stable, the game was only Tie Fighter, and my brother & I got the blue
screen.
This is after running Sandra CPU Test 20 Times without a problem.
Going to try a full test skipping HD & Other, and just going for Video,
Memory
Cach Memory and so on.
I'm already maxed out on vcore, cant go any further. 1.85 Volts.
Temps,, 35ºC/95ºF Idle
test /run number 3 showed 40.1ºC
run # 5 41.1ºC
run # 7 went up to 43.1ºC
And as of this writing it kept going up..
waiting for run # 15 before reporting temp.
I hope it don't got up too far.
was up to 45ºC at one point, I turned down the room temp.
Good Air flow, I got that good. http://mywebpages.comcast.net/dstrausser33/
Besides MB
& no fan on the back, the thing was ready to up and die.
41.1ºC ,,,, & Again, 41.1ºC When I change room temp, cpu temp changes
almost right away.
70ºF 41.1ºC / 71ºF 42.1ºC
Run 15 41.1 or 42..
And ran through all fine.
Maybe this thing just don't like the game for one reason or another.
Kingmax I found is good, $ for $.
PC2700 Overclocks very well. I've had it running stable @ 203MHz
That's over 400 MHz bus.

http://www.msn.com/ Ahhh, drink Coca-Cola.. K? Was not ready to see red on
msn's page.

Like above, I'd say use PC3200, as long as it's not Kingston Value Ram.
I've had such problems with it, I will now always suggest against getting
"Kingston Value Ram"
@ 415 MHz bus & over, I've had a full ram failure on startup.
Beep, beep, over & over fast.
Had to push the Kingmax over 450 MHz bus before I got it with Kingmax.
My other thought on this, if it's for your son, go all out.
He's worth it, though I don't have kids, I would do, and show my best side
for them 24/7
and would not drink anymore. I'd also make a much bigger effort to quit
smoking too.
Drugs, I already don't use any other drugs.
Very much luck to us both.
Denny. 🙂
