Attribute utility has stopped working

Solution
Attrib.exe is a Windows operating system file located in the C:\Windows\System32 folder. It allows you to display or change File Attributes.

it seems like something you wouldn't want to stop working.

try running chkdsk /f in command prompt (admin) - it will likely want to run it at a restart

try running an AV or malwarescan, just in case its not windows creating error.

System file checker says "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations".
