ATX 12v power on motherboard

I have a new GIGABYTE GA-790XTA-UD4 AM3 motherboard with an ATX 12v socket, and an Antec Earthwatts 650 Power Supply. The ps has a 4 4 12V EPS power connector and a 4 pin CPU connector. What do I plug into the ATX socket

I have separate pci-e power cables so do I use half of that ATX socket for the CPU power and leave 4 empty?

I am at work now and the comp is at home. the cables are pictured at the techaddicts.net sight and the board is on the giga-byte site. Sorry no pictures and I have never imbedded websites, dummy me. Anyway thanks for your quick response and the help you have given me.
