I have a Gigabyte 970a-ud3 motherboard. It's ATX, yet the holes are not in the standard ATX configuration. You can see from these two pictures what I am talking about. Top is my MB, bottom is Asus. Both ATX. Is this common? Should I drill and install a standoff for the holes that don't have a standoff?

Lower right is missing hole for stand off. Also holes on

Yes, different motherboards, both labelled ATX, the holes are different. Look at the right edge of the Asus and the bottom edge of the Gigabyte. Totally different.

The hole on the top motherboard, just above and to the left of the F_Panel is odd and out of place. There is no standoff threads on my case which supports all standards-micro, mini, atx, etc.

Is it worth drilling and adding a stand off here since the entire bottom side(looking at pic) is unsupported?
