ATX12v1 connector, but CPU1 and CPU2 cables don't fit

Rebuilding my PC and I don't remember if I used all 8 pins for the CPU header on my motherboard. When I try to fit them, they won't go in because they're not the right shape. I need these pins because I will OC my 4690k

Are you by accident trying to plug in PCIe cables? It should be split 4+4, if it is 6+2 or just 8 it's probably a PCIe cable.
