I can't get XP to accept the drivers that came with the card. I have service pack 1a loaded and it does ask for files from this in the driver loading process. I disabled onboard sound already. Any ideas?

If you have the cdrom disc that came with the Audigy 2 ZS (driver disc) then you choose "cancel" when Win XP finds the new hardware. Do not let it look for new drivers, etc.

Then just put the driver cdrom in and run the "start.exe" file (I think that is what it is called.) Anyway you just run the program that Creative uses and it will install drivers fine.

Frintin Rocks!

Or go download this file: http://ie.europe.creative.com/support/drivers/eula.asp?id=7083

Works fine as a standalone driver. For configuring your card later search for a file on your harddrive called ctpanel.exe

That includes speakersettings, eax console, audio hq etc.

Latest update should be installed after: http://ie.europe.creative.com/support/drivers/eula.asp?id=7641

There's also a file on the cd rom called ctzapxx.exe This will force the drivers on the system, but not install anything else, no configuration software etc.
