i want my soundcard to be 100% internal and dont want those 'hub' type thing on my desktop. so it is slimmed downed to these 2: audigy 4 and Xi-Fi Xtreame music. which one do you guys recommend? i also video edit besides gaming.

i saw the other Xi-Fi has X-ram on them, is it really worth the extra bucks? am i missing sth huge without buying those? what good is the hub anyways?

The X-Fi is the superior product, but at the end of the day, it would depend on the quality of your speakers/headphones, and whether that difference is worth the extra money to you personally.

There's a nice review of the X-Fi XtremeMusic here, where it's compared with a vanilla Audigy (not the 4 I think). Maybe this will help you to make your decision.

i got a 5.1 from creative, so i guess no problem there.

the XtreamMusic is the 'lesser' in the Xi-fi family, but the audigy 4 is the best of the previous family, which one is better?
