Hello, I'm completely new to this forum and I hope that this is the right place to post this. I recently got a Soundblaster Audigy FX V2 and the Dbpro expansion card, the Audigy card works fine everything from the jacks on the card itself to the front panel audio on the PC case which I connected to it but the issue I'm having is with the Dbpro card. The digital audio S/PDIF show's up fine under audio settings so I assume that that part is working but what I really got it for was the side out jack sense I don't really use the other digital/optical audio, when I plug my ear phones into the side out jack on the Dbpro expansion card I get no sound at all and it doesn't even appear as if anything is being plugged in. Like when I plug into the Audigy FX V2 card directly or the front panel connection's it automatically switches over detecting the connection but nothing when I plug into the side out jack on the Dbpro expansion. Am I mistaken that headphones or ear phones can be used on this jack or is it something else, any help would be appreciated as I've searched online but haven't really found any help or answers. Thank you in advance.

I would look into uninstalling your sound card's drivers and then manually reinstalling the driver with the latest version, in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

I'm assuming you're working with Windows 10/11.

Make and model of your headset that you're trying to pair with that side port?

Thank you. Yeah, Windows 11 and the ear phones I've been using is just a basic pair of wired apple ear pods that plug into a jack. I thought that that might be the problem to be honest but I don't really have a regular pair of headphones to try instead. Something else also, when I plug into the side out jack on the Dbpro expansion card it doesn't feel like it is in all the way although it is. Like when I push on it a little it feels like it could move in more but it's already plugged in all the way, could I have just gotten one with a broken jack? Thank you as well for replying and the help, it is appreciated.
