Audio and Mic combine wont work with 3.5 mm splitter

I have this headset http://www.corsair.com/en-gb/void-surround-hybrid-stereo-gaming-headset which only have one 3.5 mm connection to both mic and audio, and when i try to split it using this deltaco 3.5mm splitter it wont work mic just making a weird burring noise https://www.nordicbox.se/images/normal/deltaco-35mm-mikrofon-och-stereo-ha-till-35mm-ho-01-m-vit.jpg-4495.jpg anyone who can help me with this?

That is not a normal 1/8" stereo plug. You can not split it with a normal splitter. You cannot split a microphone and speaker at all anyway. There is a USB device you need. Maybe you have it. Watch this video.
