I don't know if this is where this question goes, I looked and didn't see an audio catagory so here is it.

Is Realtek HD audio manager the only application that allows you to modify sound? That just can't be true... there has to be something else that can be used without having to buy a pcie sound card.

No.

But it depends on which peripherals you use. But other option is equalizer.

For example, i have Corsair Void Pro RGB USB headset with Dolby 7.1 surround sound. And software to control it, is iCUE. Within iCUE, i have equalizer which i can use to modify the output sound.

Maybe you can tell that i like the sweet, deep bass the most. :cheese:

If you do not have peripherals that have dedicated software for audio output, but still want to use equalizer, then there are dedicated programs for that.

Ahh, that's the word I was looking for equalizer. I've been very annoyed at myself the last hour or so, I couldn't for the life of me find that word in my head. Cause I know it's not the driver I was looking for, the sound works fine, I just don't have the app from the MS store of Realteks the lets you use the equalizer and others stuff.
