Audio CD Listening

I am using a P4 system, Windows 2000, with a Plextor CD-ROM, CD-RW and a
Nakamichi 5 disc CD-ROM changer, (MJ-5.16si). I can listen to a store bought
audio CD played on my CD-ROM drive, but not on either my CD-RW or CD
Changer. All drives show up independently with their own drive letters, each
of the CD Changer's drives are assigned their own letter. I can access data
CD-ROMs on my CD-RW, such as "Streets and Trips", but no luck using
Microsoft CD player, even though the drives show up independently their, and
indicate an audio CD present. By the way, all my drives are SCSI. Should I
be using some other CD player? I seem to have all the cable connections
right, CD Audio cables are hooked into the sound card's Audio In and Aux
connectors. I have switched cables around to eliminate any bad cables, but
to no avail. What the heck am I doing wrong? This setup worked under Windows
98. I know that I am missing something simple, but I just can't see it.
Thanks,
Craig

Right mouse click on the little yellow speaker in the lower right corner of your taskbar. There should be an option in there somewhere for AUX sound or something like that. Play around with those settings. Its in there somewhere.
Also, if you have a SBLive with Liveware installed, there are also similar settings in the mixer that you have to adjust.
