Lately, I bought the Razer Kraken V3 Hypersense headset. I'm not sure if the issue was present from the beginning, but recently, while listening to music, I noticed audio crackling. Later on, while trying to understand the cause of these crackling sounds, I realized that they usually occurred at the end of any sound activity. To check if the issue would be captured in a screen recording, I recorded my screen and noticed that the audio crackling completely disappeared. However, after restarting my PC, the same problem persisted. Troubled by this, I went back to the store and exchanged it for a new one. As soon as I connected the new headset, the same issue persisted. I read that the firmware update for the product was supposed to fix this problem, but the firmware update itself is problematic, as it keeps giving the same error and other people are experiencing the same issue. The workaround of resolving the problem through screen recording was broken with the recent update to the Synapse program, so that no longer works. Previously, whenever there was any headset activity, the audio crackling issue would be resolved unless I restarted my PC, and I had to settle for that. I never really understood the root cause of the problem, and if anyone has knowledge about this, could they please help?
Note 1: I have tried numerous things, from formatting my PC to playing around with audio drivers.
Note 2: I have tested the headset on three different devices, my own PC and two laptops. One of the laptops had the same issue of audio crackling, while the other one had no problems at all. So, it seems like the issue is related to the hardware of the PCs rather than the headset itself.
