Audio Cuts out on pc.

Hello, I have had this problem ever sense I built my pc. For some reason the audio will cut out for about 2 seconds at random times but now it is doing this very frequently. I don't really know where to start looking to fix this.

Specs- Os: Windows 10.

CPU: Intel Core i7- 7700K.

Graphics Card: Geforce GTX 1080.

Ram: 16 Gigs Hyper X Fury Ram.

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z170-HD3 ATX LGA1151.

Headset: Hyper X Cloud 2's.

Any ideas to fix this would be amazing. Thanks allot.

I believe I figured out what was the problem. My motherboard Has issues with front panel jacks which make the audio cut out because its detecting something to be plugged in and out. If you have a gigabyte motherboard with the same issue follow these steps- http://ec2-54-165-242-9.compute-1.amazonaws.com/solved-pc-audio-keeps-cutting-out-randomly-realtek-audio-gigabyte-motherboard/ ......... After that you will need to go back to your playback devices and make them your default devices once again! I hope this has helped anyone as I have been going through this audio cut out for years now at this point!
