hi, soon i will be getting a BenQ XL2411Z for my birthday, i want to connect my PC via DVI and connect my Xbox ONE by HDMI and because DVI doesnt carry audio i cant plug my speakers into my monitor directly so i was wondering if this audio setup would work with the Xbox, PC and monitor:
I can buy a cheap DAC and plug the Xbox into it through its optical output, i would plug my PC into it via a 3.5mm cable from the motherboard. then i would use the 3.5mm plug from my speakers and plug that into the 3.5mm output on the dack.
Would this work? and can anyone recommend a cheap DAC i could use with all the connections i need? also, i have a pair of really old DELL speakers that i got with a PC a long long time ago so i want to upgrade soon but i dont have the money quite yet as i also need to upgrade some other peripherals, can anyone recommend me a 2.1 speaker system, i was looking at the Logitech Z335?
