Question Audio devices not detected

I know this question has been asked and answered a million times but so far nothing seems to fix it.
Problem started when i booted into windows after installing a new hard drive, overall i was pretty clumsy when i did it so i could've possibly damaged something that's causing the issue.
so far i've tried : using windows audio troubleshooter, updating my audio drivers(microsoft ones), uninstalling them and reinstalling them(microsoft again), uninstalling microsoft drivers and installing realtek drivers and resetting windows.

specs : ASRock B450M-HDV
Ryzen 5 2600
GTX 1070
WIndows 10

How are your speakers / headphones connected?
Do you see "Volume Control" (speaker icon) in the task-bar area?
What does "Devices Manager" say about any audio drivers?

Before the headset was connected through the back audio jacks but neither that nor the front is working anymore, currently im using the jack thats on my monitor and sometimes just a bluetooth headset. and yep volume control is in the task bar and this is what my device manager looks like:
