Audio Issue Video

If you click the link above you can see that I have the audio that is supposed to be selected for my Steelseries game dac. I am supposed to be in the "Game" audio output for the system, but when I use that output it slows down all applications on my pc. The Youtube video stutters terribly or completely stops. Call of Duty goes from 120-140 fps to 20-30. If I got to the "Chat" audio output everything returns to normal as you can see in the video above but then I change back to "Game" it messes up again.
Why would changing an audio output cause the issues I am seeing?

I have updated my sound drivers and the drivers from steelseries. I have updated windows. If I restart it will sometimes fix it.
What am I missing?

Try the built in Windows troubleshooters. The trouble shooters may find and fix something.

Also "sfc /scannow" and "dism".

You can also use Task Manager and Resource Monitor (use both but only one at a time) to observe system performance.

Determine what is or has changed when the slowing occurs.

Went ahead and did the troubleshooter and I apparently had audio enhancements on that audio source. The troubleshooter disabled them and it immediately started working as intended.
Thanks for the help!
