Audio for headphone

Hi,

When troubleshooting hardware issues such as an audio device not properly working it is important to check the following:

• Ensure the proper drivers for the hardware device in question are installed and configured. Installing new hardware is recommended for more information on this process.

• Ensure the sound card is indeed compatible with Windows 7 by verifying the card with the Windows 7 Compatibility Center.

• Ensure the output device (speaker or headset) is properly connected to the input port on the audio card or motherboard. Typically speaking, the ports are color coated and the port for most speaker / headphone connections are designated to the green ports.
