Audio in games is reversed??

This doesnt make sense, so basically i can go on youtube test videos (videos saying LEFT and RIGHT to distinguish the sound) seem fine. it seems to be whenever i guess the "3d sound in games"(?!?!) seems to not work properly, for example itll sound like somone is behind me when in reality theyre in front... any suggestions?

and no i am not wearing them backwards, the mic literally faces forwards at all times, i cant change it

What are your computer's specs? What headset is used and how is it connected?

Do you use the same setup on those videos that play "straight," and do all the other media also play correctly?

and yes, it seems to be just games that have the (3d kinda all around you?) audio. All music and stuff is fine as its linear i guess i dont know the terminology (mono and stereo i think)

It could well be a driver issue. Was there a software package that came with the headset?
