Audio installed but i get no sound

I just made a new build and it all works well, except the sound. It says that the drivers are installed, and the green bar on the mixer goes up and down when music is playing, but no sound comes out of speakers or headset. i checked my headset and speakers on other computer and they work fine. please help.

make sure your using the rear audio ports first with real tech driver. the green port should be the main speaker out port. if your using the front header on your case make sure the cable plugged into the mb on the right port and you have the front audio header turned on in the bios and the audio software driver.
