[SOLVED] Audio is cutting out

My audio on my rig keeps cutting out and I have tried everything I can think of to fix it. I have an Onkyo receiver that is connected to my PC via optical audio cable. Whenever I game every few seconds the audio cuts out for a second or two. It happens every 5-10 seconds and it is basically unusable. I did change from an old Sony receiver to the Onkyo. I did not have problems with the Sony. I gave the Sony away cause I thought the Onkyo would be fine.

Anybody got any ideas? I have uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled them. I have fooled around with various audio settings but I still cant get it to work. I have a gigabyte z370 mobo. Seasonis PSU and a 1080ti but that should not matter. I think its a windows thing.

Windows have a program called Harddisk defragmenter.
In a normal SATA harddisk, we usually do defragmentation.
But since the windows know those are SSD. We use the same program but instead of defragmentation
we call it TRIM.
