Hi to all.
If someone could help me out with the following problem I would be really grateful.
I recently got a pair of G4ME ONE's for Christmas. Plugged them into the back jacks of my motherboard (Gigabyte GA Z97X Gaming 3) and they worked perfectly for 3 days. Got back from work today and sat down at my PC and the sound was dulled out. Volume sounded like 70% lower than the night before and there was some distinct crackling and stuff. I've tried everything from removing drivers and reinstalling but nothing works to get the back jacks working.
If I put the headphones on my front jacks, they work just fine. The only thing I am worried about is if the front jacks fail just like the back ones do. Then I am sitting with expensive headphones for no reason at all.
Is this a jack malfunction, and if so, is there anything I can do to get them working as before? If I reboot my PC when they are plugged into the back jacks, I hear a distinctive "crackle click" (best way I can describe it) just before it gets to the login screen of Windows.
If you need any more information from me, don't hesitate to ask me.
