This is the first time im using HDMI so i want to ask is it normal for the audio to lag , im running some custom renders like madvr(video) and reclock(audio) and im running them on a gt 730 D5 version , the videos is at good fps but the audio is lagging and i don't think it is the fault of the gpu

Possibly the cheap audio chip on the gt 730, it is a hell of a cheap GPU. I doubt its a problem with the HDMI cable, probably that the GPU is lagging behind, i used to get it sometimes on a gt 610 (htpc dont fret guys) hence why i upgraded a little bit higher.

Of course i could be wrong and you have a serious problem, but i would say its just the cheapness of the GPU and the fact that your putting it under alot of load rendering.

If you lag even without rendering then it could be that the bandwidth for the HDMI port on that card is unusually low, or that the audio chip has an unusually long path to the HDMI, so i would just go back to using DVI 😉 if it has that, if it doesnt then im afraid you will have to put up with it or get a better GPU.

Sorry for not being the bearer of good news :/ good luck dude.

im thinking of using my computer speakers insted of the speakers on my TV , and about the dvi it has DVI but my TV can't support that , it is a old TV anyways im thinking maybe i should buy a DVI to VGA adapter
