I recently bought a new GPU, so I downloaded more demanding games for my pc. When i played, for example, Apex Legends, sometimes in the match my audio would be completely gone but I can fix that by replugging my headphone to the PC. I use a dongle, so it's headphone to my dongle, dongle to usb port. It's pretty annoying because it occurred too many times.
However, when i play games like League it doesn't happen. What can I do?
Specs:

Asus H61
i5-3475S
GTX 960 2gb
12 gb of ram
1tb hdd and 240gb ssd
500w psu

PSU: Make, model, wattage (500w noted), age, condition (original to build, new, refurbished, used)?

This GPU?

GPU's recommend PSU being 400 Watts. Your PSU is only 500 watts and may not be enough to keep up with the power demands of your entire system. Especially during peak demands by certain games.

All the more so if the PSU is old and has a history of heavy gaming use.

Overall, I believe that the PSU may not be able to meet peak system power requirements when you are trying to play more demanding games.

This GPU?

https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N960IXOC-2GD/sp#sp

Per the specifications:

"Recommended PSU 400W (with one 6-pin external power connectors)"

Not familiar with Xigmatek PSUs.

Are you able to obtain another known working PSU 500-600 watts for testing purposes?

Remember also, if modular, use only the cables that came with the modular PSU.

FYI: Read the following link from Tom's.

Not with the intent of going out and immediately purchasing another PSU.

The objective is to provide more information about PSUs and how size required wattage.
