Audio not coming

Hello guys.....first of all i want to say thanks to members of tomshardware...because they helped me alot...

My problem is little ridiculous.
Yesterday i use a hdmi cable to connect cpu and my lg led everything is working ok exept sound...does i have to install hdmi sound driver??

My pc specs:-
Intel c2d 2.4ghz
2gb ram
Msi N9400gt 1gb
My Tv is Lg 24inch hd led

Go to Windows sound control panel, playback devices (you can usually right click on the speaker icon on the task bar and select playback devices)
In the list of devices shown, select the monitor/tv. I expect it would say "HDMI" somewhere in its description.
Click "Ok" or "Apply" or whatever makes sense.
