So my PC was built yesterday and its working completely fine, but audio isn't working but when i check audio devices like (Digital Audio (S/PDIF) the bar where it shows audio playing is moving when a video plays, but no sound is coming out, and i've tried plugging in headphones to headphones jack, nothing is happening, what can I do to fix this?

Solution
if you installed the chipset drivers so that the mb devices can be seen and installed. check in the bios that the audio chipset is on under onboard devices. if it on...download the newest drivers from realtek (hd audiio drivers). if the mb uses those drivers. if after they install there no audio go to windows sound device manager make sure windows did not set nvidia or amd hmdi audio as the main audio output if it did disable it and make realteck speakers the default audio output.
