Audio Only Kraken 7.1 vs Tiamat 7.1

I have a top of the line sound card, i have a Razer Seiren Pro therefor the horrible mic quality of the Tiamat does not effect this decision. I want to know two things, overall is the Tiamat better for audio quality even though it is older? and does it have better surround sound than the Kraken 7.1? Thanks.

Those are both pretty trashy when it comes to Audio Quality, 7.1 is rarely worth the trouble with Headphones. Most 7.1 Headsets are Marketed for fairly uninformed "Hardcore Gamers" your best bet is a good pair of Stereo Headphones Audio Technica ATH M50X, Senheiser HD 598's. Music will not take advantage of 7.1, not to mention I have never seen a "Professional Player" use 7.1 in a Tournament hopefully you get the point, not worth it.
