[SOLVED] audio only working in one ear only on newly built pc?

just built my first pc, using the phanteks p300 case and B450M Pro-M2 max motherboard.

Only unconnected cables right now are:
-Phanteks light strip cable
-V12 416v cable

when we boot up the pc and plug the headphones into the case audio jack on the case we only get audio in the right ear (mono) but when we plug it into the motherboard backplate's section for audio it comes through in stereo. For refrence we have the HD audio from the case plugged into the Jaud1 connection on the motherboard (9 pin connection).

Is it possible that the cases headphone jack doesn't support stereo? it would seem odd but that's the only explanation I can think of.

My current headphones are:
Razer Kraken Gaming Headset: Lightweight Aluminum Frame - Retractable Cardioid Mic - for PC, PS4, Nintendo Switch - 3.5 mm Headphone Jack - Blue/Black

Solution
Jack should be stereo, make sure you connected the audio cables to the motherboard properly and headphones are clicked in all the way in the jack. If those don't fix it, contact support for the case.
