Audio out to receiver using HDMI

What are the levels of audio out quality thru HDMI cable direct to receiver. Does it support at least 5.2, 7.2?

ARC will pass the same digital audio as a SPDIF digital cable. It uses spare wires inside the HDMI cable so will only support PCM, Dolby Digital, and DTS. It won't support any lossless or hybrid audio codecs that require HDMI such as Dolby TrueHD.
The next version of HDMI will support these audio codecs.
