audio over 9400gt

unable to get audio through hdmi when connected to my sony tv.. what to do?

gpu zotac geforce 9400gt

Does your card have native HDMI output or are you converting it form DVI?
If it's DVI conversion then it will never contain any audio signals, but if you have native port You might wanna set HDMI audio as default output device in your sound properties. I own sparkle 9400GT, it doesn't have HDMI.

mine do have a native hdmi port.. dont know which version it is but it is native..
