Audio problem help

Hi guys. I recently built a pc. everything worked fine except for the audio. when i play youtube videos the volume just lowers a little on its own, i tried to disable all the effect sound and mark the do nothing in communication but none of them worked

I have Realtek audio driver (also NVIDIA high audio in device manager) and steelseries siberia v2 headsets, windows 8.1

Well I can bet its not your headset. I have the same v2 headset and have had no problems.
How do you connect your PC to the monitor? HDMI, DVI-D, Display Port, etc...?

just because JQ845 has no issues doesn't mean it cant be your headset. but I have seen issues when multiple sound sources are available....try disabling all sound sources except the one you want to use in control panel and or device manager and see if it works for you. but also note in modern computers this shouldn't be an issue as I have 5 sound sources for different purposes and have no issues even when using more than one source at a time for different needs. it could also be driver related.

Which one should i disable? i have NVIDIA high definition audio. NVIDIA miracast audio and Realtek high definition audio
