Audio Splitter nor working

Soooo I have :
ElectraBasic Jack 3.5mm Audio Splitter
It works on Phone, Sound and Mic.
On PC Reviews say it works, but for me, the mic Doesn't

The MIC is MONO.
The splitter is STEREO.
Use a MONO splitter for the microphone.

But generally, you DO NOT split a mic signal.
You preamp the mic FIRST (with a mixer), then split the signal!

OR you use a professional mic splitter transformer...
