Hello all!

I want to stream audio up into the internet with good quality, so I used BroadWave, but I only get good results at 128KB/s, and because of my broadband connection, I could only allow up to 2 simultaneous connections to the server.

I changed to Windows Media Encoder and I was able to take the bitrate down to 32KB/s while preserving the quality. That could allow up to 8 simultaneous connections.

There is an option in Windows Media Encoder that allows you to push the stream to a server instead of having clients connecting directly to my computer. Is there a list of such servers that I can use that has good capacity?

Thanks all!

There are third party sites out there, some of which are free, however, you would also be compromising your ownership of the audio clips that you're streaming.
