Audio through headphones is messed up, but not my speakers?

Hi, so when I plug in my headphones (I have tried other headphones so I know my headphones are not the problem) it doesn't output the correct audio, background sounds are missing, sometimes gets a little buggy, etc. I've tried using both the back and front jacks and they both have the same problem. But when I plug my speakers into the same out jack that I would normally plug my headphones into, no problems at all works 100%. I think its something to do with my audiocard or motherboard, but I just got my motherboard a week ago. My mobo is a MSI MS-7A74 Boost

You tried other headphones so you know that those aren't broken?
Give it a try and check them out on the different source - phone for example, if its a mini-jack related problem try to push it in but not all the way in.
